THANK YOU!

I would like to thank those of you who have been showing your support by contacting me with words of encouragement and offers to volunteer!!

I would like to make sure that I express my gratitude to you all for what you have been doing and sharing!!

If you have decided to become a Have A Reader, please be sure to take pictures of the books you have sent out with your note...even a cellphone picture will do!! I will be sure to add them to the slide show with your name and initial (with your permission)!!!

A Few Words

No one should have to pay for a good book...and sometimes you just don't know what to read!! Have A Read! If you take the subway in NYC sometimes it can be very monotonous and frustrating. After seeing a woman pick up a newspaper off a train seat next to me to quell the boredom of the commute, and then place the paper in her own seat when her stop came up, I thought to myself "Why not give people something to read while they wait for the train? Why shouldn't I do just like this woman and the person before her did, give away what I am done reading??!!" Sooo..Have a Read was started. I will be leaving books for people to read in various train station and trains in the city! If you would like to also donate books you are finished with to people who are running the rat race, please send your request to have_a_read@yahoo.com or havearead@gmail.com (preferred). Thank you... I hope you have had many good reads!!!
